Powerfilm Solar is based in Ames, Iowa and makes serious solar panels. Powerfilm uses amorphous Silicon cells same as Flexopower, however Flexopower differs by using triple junction technology. Triple junction absorbs a broader spectrum of sun light.
The PF 90W has a 13.9% higher rating than the Flexopower Atacama-79. Does that mean it produces 14% +/- more than the Atacama-79? Or does the broader absorption capability of the Atacama make up for its lower rating?
